Auburn Ambulance Station Fitout
The heritage building of the Auburn Ambulance Station is being trasnformed into a state of the art pub and restaurant. The work for the fitout involved designing energy-efficient and cost-effective mechanical services including VRF air conditioning system, energy-recovery air conditioning system, and kitchen ventilation system. This involved CFD odour modelling to ensure that occupants of adjacent apartment building would experience no odour nuisance outside their balconies. Veritech grease filters and COANDA hoods were used to ensure that no grease or odour (below compliance) is exhausted into the local atmosphere.READ MORE

Seaforth Carpark & Car Lift Ventilation Modelling
SEED Engineers tackled an exceptional ventilation challenge in the Seaforth Carpark & Car Lift Ventilation Modelling project, set within a residential building. This project required the innovative application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to ensure the safety and compliance of a unique car lift system. Facing a highly unconventional design that uses a car lift to transport vehicles to different parking levels, our team was engaged to provide assurances that carbon monoxide levels within this system would remain within safe limits for human exposure.
Edgecliff Post Office Redevelopment
The Edgecliff Post Office Redevelopment is a medium-sized commercial project where SEED Engineers were engaged to address the mechanical engineering challenges associated with renovating the ground floor of a heritage-listed building. This project required careful planning and innovative solutions to meet the specific constraints of replacing two existing fan coil units (FCUs) and designing ductwork for an open office plan, all while preserving the building's historical integrity and maintaining aesthetic appeal.
Toowong Tower
Elevating Toowong Tower's functionality, our mechanical refurbishment maximized efficiency and compliance within an occupied live building, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Project Neon – Scalzo Foods
Ensure precision in industrial design with Project Neon - Scalso Foods. SEED's in-house QA system guarantees compliance and resource efficiency. Our 6-week peer review streamlined the 35,000 sqm project, ensuring seamless integration of complex services. Addressing challenges, SEED guided the designer, meeting client requirements, and optimising costs for construction and operations.
Intercity Fleet Maintenance Facility, Kangy Angy
Enhance comfort in industrial spaces. Our study optimises efficiency with roof ventilators and automated louvres, addressing challenges for Climatech in this 12,000sqm facility.
King’s Co-op
Elevate hospitality spaces with our mechanical and kitchen ventilation design for an 800 sqm bar and restaurant. Overcoming height challenges, our solution features slimline ducted units, ensuring a seamless blend with exposed ceilings.
