The Challenges Faced
There are notable challenges in Nobby’s Venue HVAC refresh. Situated near the coastal area, the restaurant has open windows which allows greater intake for outdoor air. Addressing constraints posed by the building’s limited ceiling space for kitchen ductwork and acoustic control were key aspects of our solution.
The Solution Provided
To address these challenges, SEED Engineers devised innovative solutions tailored to Nobby’s Venue. To keep positive pressure inside the building and prevent excessive intake of outdoor air, we designed a fan control system that adjusts fan speed and noise based on the heat generated in the kitchen hood which also has odour treatments for any nuisance.
